October Ride!!
Sunday, October 10, 2010
October’s ride was epic! Girls from San Diego to Los Angeles met in Dana Point for a ride, networking, photos and lunch! From Suzuki to Harley, sportbike to cruiser, THIRTY girls and bikes came out for the October ride!!! Organized, planned and routed by Monica of Hungtington Beach, we rode up the Pacific Coast Highway from Dana Point, to “The Top Of The World” in Newport Beach for a photo op, including a video/photos by Krystal, wife of Super Streetbike editor in chief Dave Sonsky (we even caught a glimpse at Troy Lee while we were up there!). We continued up PCH to Long Beach, where we had lunch at Tequila Jack’s, talked, laughed and were merry! After another photo op with the Queen Mary in the background, Oki (the founder of GirlClutch) gave away shirts to the girl who traveled the furthest to Dana Point (Jessica Mercado of Valencia), the newest rider (Lizi Swibel of Long Beach, who has only been riding ONE WEEK!) and the girl with the oldest bike (April Trestick of Los Angeles, and her 2004 Ducati Monster). Congratulations to the three of you!
It was an awesome turn out, the girls had a blast, and most can’t wait to do it again!!!
